FPSO Upgrading – PROJECT COMPLETED!!!

The Badger Company has successfully finalized a FEED project for the revamp of an existing FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) vessel.This project was a real team effort and collaboration with our engineering team spread over 3 offices in The Netherlands, Romania and Portugal together with the client.Project Scope:Engineering and design of the FPSO’s Gas Compression Module and Cooling Module- Structural: main & secondary structures and equipment support calculation and design, including fabrication drawings.- Piping: 3D model of the rerouted lines and piping supports; stress analysis for the critical lines in accordance with the client's specifications.- Electrical and Instrumentation: 3D modelling of the E&I cable trays and equipment.Technical Assistance during the 3D model review sessions.SOFTWARE USED:- AVEVA E3D for the 3D model- GeniE for the structural calculations-IDEA StatiCa for connection calculations and design-Matchcad for hand computations and verification-STAAD Pro for piping special supports-CEASR II for the stress analysis of the critical lines.
